Wiscasset Lyme Disease Support Meeting Speaker: Darrell Gudroe

Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education (MLDSE) is pleased to host, Darrell Gudroe, caregiver consultant and Board member of Medical Marijuana Caregivers of Maine (MMCM) at their upcoming Lyme support meeting on Tuesday, July 25 from 6-8pm at the Wiscasset Community Center.  Gudroe is also the owner of the recently opened, Pharmer's Market in Boothbay, a store that provides a variety of products and services for those seeking to incorporate medical cannabis into their treatment protocol.

In an effort to steer away from opiates and pharmaceuticals, studies have shown medical cannabis to alleviate many symptoms and get health conditions under control from nausea and insomnia to seizures and anxiety.  Gudroe has participated in many of MLDSE's conferences and has spoken at other support meetings.  An expert in the field of CBD products and medical cannabis, we are inviting him back to share with our group all the services that his new store provides to the community. MLDSE brings in expert speakers to their meetings to help expand options for those seeking treatment for their symptoms from chronic illness.

Medication comes in a myriad of forms and methods including salves, balms, body butter, lotions, roll-ons, tinctures, soaps (dye-free, scent-free, or scented – vanilla lavender is one), oils, and in sweets including lollipops and cookies. Many of the market’s CBD products are FDA-approved, made by friends of Gudroe, including Hippy Chick (Janet Mcallister) Natural Solutions in Guilford, and Healing Harbors in Harpswell. Healing Harbors researches and manufactures infused topicals. Sticky Bud Farms also provides dog biscuits and edibles for humans.

In addition to the CBD products that may be purchased by anyone, the market also sells medical marijuana, which can only be purchased  by patients with a medical marijuana card from their doctor who have designated Pharmers Market as their caregiver of choice.  And for those who have an interest in learning more about growing their product, there is someone at the market who can help with that as well.

Darrell brings years of experience, including his own personal story of overcoming chronic illness and a desire to help those seeking health and wellness.

The support meeting is open to those afflicted with Lyme or tick-borne disease, those who want to learn more about it and those who would like to learn more about the usage of medical cannabis and the products and services you can find at Pharmer's Market.
