Win The Fight Over Lyme Disease

Win the Fight Over Lyme Disease

ROCKLAND, Maine— The Destination Wellness Series on February 2nd, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. at the Rockland Public Library features Paula Jackson-Jones, who will talk about hers and many others' experiences before receiving a Lyme diagnosis. She will describe finding a trusted practitioner and how she learned to interpret the clinical information she was given.

Joining Paula is Jolinda Rocket, who will discuss symptoms that only minimally respond to traditional treatments and will share information about a newly developed system involving acupuncture and homeopathy. They will both discuss general habits that everyone should be aware of to support improved outcomes of Lyme.

Paula Jackson Jones is President and Co-Founder of Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education, a non-profit organization, which fosters support to the Midcoast Maine Lyme community by supplying them with information on tick-borne diseases and connections to Lyme literate providers. By educating the community on prevention and providing information for diagnosing and treatment options, they hope to reduce Maine's Lyme disease count and get more medical providers trained on updated information for diagnosing and treating Lyme disease and co-infections.

Jolinda Rockett, RN, MAc Acupuncturist, has been in practice in Camden Maine as a licensed acupuncturist since since 1989. Her credentials include a BSN from University of Texas, MAc from Sophia Institute and homeopathy studies around the country, receiving her CCH in 2013.
