Midcoast Lyme Disease Support & Education welcomes Dr Devra Krassner, ND of Integrative Health Center of Maine as their guest speaker at their Lyme Support meeting on Wed September 6 from 6-8pm (conference rooms 1&2) at Mid Coast Hospital, 123 Medical Center Drive, Brunswick, Maine.
Dr. Devra Krassner offers comprehensive naturopathic medicine to families, women, men and children. Treatment plans are individualized to address the full range of acute and chronic conditions, as well as to support people wishing to optimize their health.
After graduating from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon in 1987, Dr. Krassner returned to the east coast to practice.
Devra
Krassner, ND specializes in women’s health, homeopathy, botanical
(herbal) medicine, and medical nutrition and lifestyle counseling. She
has a special interest in health care for women and children, and has
expertise in the areas of hormonal balance, osteoporosis, mood
stabilization, and behavioral and attention disorders. Diagnostic
techniques include standard physical and gynecological exams and
laboratory testing. Dr. Krassner also uses functional medicine to assess
and treat conditions such as food sensitivities, adrenal fatigue and
digestive imbalances. Many of the people who Dr. Krassner sees just do
not feel well, and have been unable to determine what is wrong with them
or what can be done to help. She focuses on the underlying causes of
problems rather than simply treating the symptoms.
Dr.
Krassner is committed to sharing information with people, thereby
empowering them to have more control over their health care and their
lives. She is excited to be part of an integrative health center,
working collaboratively with other health care practitioners to provide
optimal service to those who seek her care.
Dr.
Krassner has lectured extensively on many topics in the field of
naturopathic medicine and has been featured on television, radio and in
various newspapers.
In
addition to her practice, Dr. Krassner is an adjunct professor at
Kaplan University, where she teaches in the Medical Assistant program.
She is a member of the American Association of Naturopathic Physicians,
Maine Association of Homeopaths, and past president of the Maine Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
This
meeting is free and open to the public for those affected by Lyme and
tick-borne disease and those who want to learn more about it. Child care
